Ray Reece was a writer, journalist and political activist. His published books include "The Sun Betrayed: A Report on the Corporate Seizure of U.S. Solar Energy Development" and "Abigail in Gangland," a novel. He was the founding chair of the City of Austin Renewable Energy Resources Commission and the City of Austin Town Lake Corridor Task Force.
