Healthcare Design: Gail Vittori on healthy healing environments

Co-Director Gail Vittori comments on the societal impact of LEED buildings in the Healthcare Design article: “Numbers Aside, LEED Buildings Make Sense.” The article explores the relationship between green buildings and their occupants. Co-Director Vittori, who recently co-authored Sustainable Healthcare Architecture, Second Edition, remarks on the importance of healthy buildings for healing environments: “wouldn’t you want to be in a place that makes you feel better? There’s just some stuff that’s so basic. We kind of get lost in the numbers of it, but think about it.”
